Permits

The association issues parking permits (stickers) to residents for vehicles that will use common-area parking. A permit must be:

• Currently issued to your household — permits are tied to the unit and the vehicle, not transferable between households;
• Displayed so it is visible from outside the vehicle, in the location you were told to place it when it was issued.

A permit that is in the glove box, sitting on a seat face-down, or on a vehicle it was not issued for does not count as displayed.

Visitors and temporary parking

Visitor and temporary parking tags are handled through management. If you are expecting a guest who needs to leave a vehicle in a common area overnight, or you have a temporary vehicle such as a rental or a loaner while yours is in the shop, arrange it with management in advance rather than after the fact. Management can explain the current procedure and issue what is needed.

Enforcement window

Parking enforcement runs 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Patrols and tow authorizations occur inside that window. Outside of it, the parking rules still apply — they simply are not actively patrolled.

Towing

Towing for the community is performed by American Wrecker Company.

What towing applies to

Towing applies to the community’s main streets only.

What towing does not apply to

Vehicles parked in private driveways are not subject to tow. Your own driveway is your own; a vehicle sitting in it is not a towing matter.

Who may authorize a tow

No vehicle is towed on someone’s say-so. Every tow must be authorized by one of the following:

• Principal Management Group staff;
• the on-call manager, for situations arising outside normal business hours;
• a member of the Board of Directors.

Neighbors, guests and contractors cannot authorize a tow, and neither can the towing company acting on its own. If you believe a vehicle was towed without authorization, or you want to raise a concern about how a tow was handled, contact management first and copy the Board at [email protected].

Practical notes

• Do not block a driveway, a gate, a fire lane, a dumpster enclosure, or a neighbor’s access — these create safety problems independent of the permit rules.
• Park within a single marked space.
• Inoperable, unregistered and stored vehicles, along with trailers and recreational vehicles, are separately restricted by the recorded Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions and the Architectural Control Guidelines.
• If your household’s vehicles change, update management so your permits stay accurate.
