Gate Access
Gate credentials are issued to residents by request. Start by submitting the form below — it is the only intake the Board and management work from.

How access works
Bayou Landing’s vehicular gates operate on an access-control system that the community shares with the adjacent Lofts property. Because the system is shared, credentials cannot be added or changed at the gate itself — every addition, removal or replacement is provisioned centrally.
The process is:
- A resident submits the gate access request form above, one submission per household.
- The Board and Principal Management Group review the request against the ownership and occupancy records for the unit.
- Management provisions the credential on the shared access-control system and confirms back to the resident.
Requests are handled in batches rather than instantly, so please submit yours before you need it — ahead of a move-in date, a vehicle change or a new tenancy, not on the day.
Who can request credentials
- Owners who live in the community. Submit the form for your household.
- Tenants. The owner of the unit should confirm the tenancy with management; credentials follow the occupancy of the unit and are removed when it ends.
- Owners who lease their unit. Please tell management when a tenancy begins or ends so that credentials can be issued and retired at the right time.
- Visitors, contractors and deliveries. These are handled by the resident being visited, not by a separate credential. Contact management for anything that needs longer-term arrangements.
Maintenance and outages
Both the pedestrian gates and the vehicular gates are maintained by the association. Repairs, adjustments and vendor scheduling run through the community manager.
If a gate is stuck open, stuck closed, sagging, dragging, not latching, or a reader or call box is not responding, report it to the community manager rather than attempting a repair or forcing the gate. Forcing a gate usually turns a small adjustment into an operator replacement.
Report an outage through TownSq, or by contacting the community manager directly — see the contact page. Include the gate location, what it is doing, and when you noticed it. Copy the Board at [email protected] if the problem is a safety issue or is not addressed.
Good gate manners
- Wait for the gate to close behind you before driving on. Tailgating is how unauthorized vehicles get in, and how gate arms get damaged.
- Do not prop a pedestrian gate open, even briefly.
- Do not share your credential outside your household.
- Tell management promptly if a credential is lost or a vehicle is sold, so it can be deactivated.
