Upcoming: Board & homeowner meeting, Thursday, October 15, 2026
The Board is holding a combined board and homeowner meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM, online on Microsoft Teams. There is no in-person location.

- community mulching;
- a towing reminder;
- an open homeowner forum (comments are limited to two minutes each).
All owners are encouraged to attend. See the meetings page for background on how Bayou Landing meetings work.

Community mulch party, Sunday, November 8, 2026
The HOA is buying mulch, and residents are invited to help spread it around the community. Details on time and where to meet will follow on TownSq.

Water usage
- The community’s water bill has been running well above budget.
- The City has told us the master meter reader is malfunctioning, and recent bills have been estimated rather than based on an actual reading.
- The Board and Principal Management Group are working with the City to get this resolved.
Residents can help: please report running toilets, leaks, and any outside faucet that is left running or appears tampered with. Report these to TownSq or the community manager — see the contact page.

Landscaping
Landscaping visits follow a seasonal schedule, so how often the crew comes changes through the year. Mulch goes down in November, timed with the community mulch party above.
Gates
- There have been recent app outages and damage to one of the gates; repairs are being coordinated.
- Report gate problems through TownSq.
- Close gates behind you, and don’t let someone you don’t know follow you in. If someone suspicious is inside the gates, call the Harris County Pct. 6 Constable non-emergency line at 713-274-3400. In an emergency, call 911.
See the gate access page for how to open the gates, including by text.
Trash
Trash is picked up Tuesdays and Fridays; recycling is picked up Fridays.
Overflowing dumpsters near the Lofts have been attracting problems. If you see overflow or illegal dumping, report it to Houston 311 — call 311, or use the Houston 311 app or website.
